Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Shehbaz Sharif on Saturday hit back with Prime Minister Imran Khan over his claims that the opposition is part of of “foreign conspiracy” to overthrow him government through non-confidence motion.
Talking to media in Islamabad, according to him, Prime Minister Imran is not ready to accept his defeat and is involved in “conspiracy” to divide the nation.
“The opposition will bury Imran Khan’s undemocratic thinking through constitutional means… responsible for hurl threats [at opposition leaders after voting on no-trust motion]”, he remarked.
He said that Prime Minister Imran is taking path i.e against Constitution and law of the country. “If we want to live like free nation we must break begging bowl… I have always argued that if there is no self-confidence, then there will be no freedom,” he said. added.
He said Prime Minister Imran was provoking his supporters and “minions”. against opposition leaders and added that all legislators have the right vote. “I hope the right vote will be given according to decision of Supreme Court.”
PML-N President also clarified that his remarks that “beggars can’t choose” were erroneously linked to the United States. “I’ve said so much times before … independence of a nation is meaningless if it is not economically self-sufficient,” he said.
