According to Khan, the violent arrest, arson, and Nazi-era type crackdown that followed the incident were pre-planned. He demanded an independent investigation and has been calling for one since day one.

Central Information Secretary Raoof Hassan has criticized Maryam Nawaz’s attempt to revive her party’s dead politics and to hoodwink the people of Kashmir through false and absurd narratives. He stated that the convicted daughter of a criminal convicted by the courts was trying to mislead the people of Kashmir under the umbrella of lawlessness.

Hassan stated that PTI Chairman Imran Khan was the ambassador of the people of Kashmir to the world and the strongest voice in their favour. He reminded everyone that the behind-the-scenes friendship with Narendra Modi and withdrawal from the Kashmir cause were the initiatives of absconder Nawaz Sharif.

Hassan claimed that Kashmiris were well-aware of the Sharifs’ hostility towards Kashmir and the army, and that Maryam’s attempts to revive dead politics on the basis of false and absurd narratives would not succeed.
