PESHAWAR: PTI Chairman Imran Khan announced on sunday that his party long awaited long hike islamabad begin on On May 25, he will meet with his workers and supporters at 15:00 on the Srinagar Highway.
Khan made in announcement during a press conference in Peshawar after the meeting of PTI main committee. former prime minister was surrounded by several party leaders including Shah Mahmoud Qureshi and Mahmoud Khan.
Later, taking to Twitter, he told his followers that he wanted “the whole nation to come to Islamabad”, adding that he would leading long trek from Peshawar.
During the press conference, Khan demanded a date for new elections, as well as the dissolution of assemblies. He also sent a message to the country military and asked him to keep his promise of “neutrality”.
He said that people from all walks of a life should be joining his long march, especially women added what he will remain in Islamabad for as long as it will required.
“We are ready to sacrifice our lives, but we will never accept these thieves at the head of the country,” he said. “We need date for new elections and dissolution of assembly.”

“This is not politics, but this jihad (Holy war). If they [the government] tried to stop a long march, that would be illegal and we will take action against if that happens.”
“The most corrupt people came to power’
At the beginning of at a press briefing, Khan praised progress his government made during his tenure and criticized the current installation for pushing the country into bankruptcy.
