VVK turns out down PTI petition against ECP decision on LG Polls in Islamabad

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Wednesday rejected a petition filed by the Pakistani Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI). against election Committee of Pakistan move set aside local government elections in federal capital.
Two members of the bench, led by Judge Mohsin Akhtar Kiyani, declared the petition null and void after hearing arguments from ECP and PTI lawyers.
During the hearing, YHP representatives stated that LG’s polls, which were to be held on December 31, was postponed due to governments decision increase the number of union advice in capital city.
