ISLAMABAD: Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Wednesday banned Prime Minister Imran Khan from revealing details. of “A threatening letter,” according to ARY News.
Applicant Muhammad Naeem Khan applied to IHC to plead jurisdiction of this court in accordance with Article 199 of Constitution of Islamic Republic of Pakistan, 1973 (hereinafter referred to as the “Constitution”), as he claims that his displeasure stems from the statement made prime minister of Pakistan regarding public
information disclosure of a letter that is declared confidential.
In a written decision released by CJ IHC Judge Atar Minallah, Prime Minister Imran Khan was asked not to break his oath by giving details. of ‘secret document’ public.

he took an oath in accordance with the Constitution. Any decision accepted by a worthy prime minister, should be in consonance with his obligations under the Official Secrets Act 1923 and in letter and spirit of oath of office.
“The court is trusted and confidence what a worthy prime minister of Pakistan does not disclose any information what could be damaging national interest and national honesty of Pakistan, no matter what he will act in in any way that would effect of
breaking an oath.”
