A criminal case has been opened on the fact of the arrest of a man dead on the stage of a hit-as well as-run crash in Peterborough.
Police file an appeal for witnesses after the man in it is believed that he is 30 years old, he fell on the road in Paston Ridings before hit.
That man in he was 30 years old walking along the path in Paston Ridings in just after 20:30 on October 20, when he fell on the road.
A car, presumably a Renault Megane, then turned right out of Hallfields Lane, on Paston Ridings, before the collision with that man.
driver failed stop at the scene.
Police and paramedics arrived at the scene, but the man could not be saved.
Detective Garry Webb of the Beds, Cambs and Herts (BCH) Highway Patrol said: “This is an incredibly sad incident when a man in he is 30 years old, he lost his life, and we are doing our best to investigate, but we need in public help.
“We are addressing for witnesses, video recordings and anyone who was in in area at that time and saw a dark Renault Megane to get in touch.”
