According to her, during the discussions there were constant disagreements about the supply of combat aircraft to Kiev, expectations of success from the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Ukraine’s entry into NATO and the European Union.
“I do not understand the logic of those who say that the Ukrainian army is unlikely to succeed on the battlefield, so we must cut off military supplies, but people still think so,” she admitted.
Rick said that fear of war with Russia and unwillingness to “provoke the Kremlin too much” continue to shape NATO’s stance on the conflict.
And she concluded that, in addition, the Europeans still reject the idea of Ukraine joining NATO.
