KARACHI: Hindu temple attacked people in Korangi area of Karachi late Wednesday evening.
Incident took place in Korangi number 5 area of port city. Sri Mari Mata Mandir, which also there is a residence of a Hindu priest was attacked late at night, causing fear among the members of Hindu community.
An angry mob attacked house of the priest and destroyed the idols. there were no arrests made the police so far.

The idols were brought in by the priest a few days ago for installation. in temple under construction.
“We are not know who attacked [the temple] and why,” a local Hindu resident was quoted as saying.
According to a complaint filed with the Korangi police station, six up to eight people on motorcycles attacked the complex. “Five to six unknown The suspects entered the temple and fled after acts of vandalism,” Korangi reported. house officer (SHO) Farooq Sanjrani.
Police said they were gathering evidence, adding that they cordoned off off in area and subject to protection to community.
