High-Potassium Foods to Lower Blood Pressure

Some foods contain more potassium than others, and three dried fruits are known to be high in potassium, which may help lower blood pressure.

Raisins (749 mg of potassium per 100 grams).

Dried apricots (1162 mg).

Peaches (732 mg).

In comparison, 100 grams of bananas, which are a good source of potassium, contain only 358 mg of potassium.

The American Heart Association also recommends the following products for the same reasons:
