Hennepin, Ramsey among Minnesota counties under tornado watch

MINNEAPOLIS — After severe storms caused flash flooding at the Minnesota State Fair as well as left thousands without power on the sister cities on Saturday, more rainy weather is possible Sunday.

This is the day of the next weather warning due to a serious threat that begin around 15:00 and last until 3 am, with the threat in the metro operates from 20:00 to 23:00. Hard weather will develop in northwestern Minnesota in noon, then head down corridor of Interstate 94 and hit twin cities later in evening.

Most of the state is in the lung risk for heavy weather. Four corners and western Minnesota have a slightly lower risk. The tornado threat will highest in Central Minnesota.

If you are planning head at the fair you will have a lot of dry time. Your best bet for cooperative weather will be from 10:00 to 20:00 Make sure you have a hard weather plan before you go.

Maximums on sunday will be in mid and early 80s.

Monday will be cooler more comfortable and windy with high about 82. All of next week is like with lots of of sun and temperature in younger until the mid-80s.
