Halo Infinite Tournaments Going Cross-Platform

Halo Infinite tournaments will be cross-platform between Xbox and PC. 343 Studios reveals that in a new blog post.
During online tournaments, players may decide whether they play on Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox One, or PC. They can also decide for themselves on each platform whether they play with a mouse and keyboard or an Xbox controller. 343 also emphasizes that the Series X version of the game supports 120 frames per second and console players will get an identical experience to the PC version when they connect a mouse and keyboard.

Similar rules apply to local tournaments. For this, all players can sign up in an open bracket, which will be played on Xbox Series X “for logistical” reasons. Players who qualify for the pool stage play just like professional players on PC from that moment on.

Halo Infinite will be released this fall. This weekend a technical test will take place for a select group of users.
