Halo Infinite multiplayer is now live

Halo Infinite multiplayer is now playable.
Microsoft announced that tonight during a special Xbox livestream to celebrate the Xbox brand’s 20th anniversary. Rumors have been swirling for the past few days that the multiplayer would go live before the official release on December 8. That now appears to be correct, although it is officially a beta.
The first season of the multiplayer, called Heroes of Reach, also started today, including all maps, modes, Academy options and a Battle Pass. All progression players make will be carried over to the official launch on December 8.
The multiplayer is free available to everyone on Xbox Series X and S, Xbox One, and PC. The complete game, including the single player campaign, will be released on December 8. That is paid content, although it will also be on Game Pass.
