LAHORE: Jamatud Dawa Leader Hafiz Saeed Received Collective Sentence of 31 years in prison in two more cases of terror anti-terrorist court (ATC) funding in Lahore on Friday.
ATC Judge Ejaz Ahmad Buttar condemns cleric in cases filed against its Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) officers Lahore and Sahiwal.
The court sentenced him to strict imprisonment of 16 years old and half in case No. 90/19 and 15 years and half in case no. 21/19.

Court announced verdict after hearing final arguments of the defense and prosecution parties and recording of evidence.
The court ordered the authorities concerned to accept over mosque and madrasah built using funds raised by Hafiz Said.

The head of the JUD was arrested in July 2019 in connection with terror funding while he was on his way from Lahore to Gujranwala. Previously in 2020, he was convicted in two cases of terror-financing.
The Lahore Anti-Terrorism Court awarded him five and half years prison sentence and penalty of 15,000 rupees in every case.
