Government of Punjab establishes CM flood aid fund

Lahore: Punjab government on Friday set Chief Minister Flood Relief Fund in rescue, assistance and rehabilitation of flood-affected people of It is reported by ARY News.

CM Punjab Chaudhry Pervez Illahi met with PTI leaders Assad Umer, Shafkat Mehmood, Mehmood-ur-Rashid, Aslam Iqbal, Yasmin Rashid, Mohsin Lagari and Andlib Abbas and discussed flood situation in southern regions of provinces.

CM announced to an institution of a flood relief fund and called on philanthropists and financially rich people come forward and donate to the victims people of provinces.

CM said that Tonsa, Dera Ghazi Khan and Rajanpur suffered the most from the flood. People were left homeless and suffered damage property and agricultural crops CM said. CM declared a state of emergency and declared a disaster in the district hit after his visits to the districts.
