Gigabyte suffered a major cyber attack last week as a Taiwanese hardware maker was hit by a hacker team called RansomEXX with an extortionist virus. The attackers stole roughly 112 GB of data, and several of the company’s partner companies were involved, including Intel and AMD.
Gigabyte, on the other hand, has decided not to pay the amount claimed by hackers , so the attackers responded to their threat and made a number of sensitive data public.
According to reports, 7 GB of material became available, including Intel and AMD source code and a number of Gigabytes of data.

Source code for the Intel Manageability Commander application is now available on hacker forums courtesy of RansomEXX, and confidential information, including user passwords, has been posted.
Most of Gigabyte’s 112 GB dataset has not yet been released by hackers, and as of now, the attackers have failed to obtain personal information about the company’s customers.
The company has not yet issued a notice regarding the publication of the data
