Four out of 10 Americans Say They’re Saddled with active debt from medical and dental surveys, according to new KFF Health Debt Review.
new poll, published on Thursday, found what 24 percent of respondents said that they have a medical; or dental bills that past should or have not been paid fora 21 percent of respondents said they have medical or dental bills that they pay off over time directly to your provider.
Fifty seven percent of respondents who live in households with with an income of less than $40,000 said they had medical or dental bills that past while 41 percent of interviewees who live in households that earn up under $89,000 said the same, according to the poll.
Fourty seven percent of respondents who do not have higher education said they have health care debt 31 percent of respondents who have higher education said they have health care debt also.
Forty eight percent of female respondents said in survey that they have medical or dental debt this is due to the fact that 34 percent of male respondents also said the same thing, the poll said.
It comes like 40 percent of respondents who 18 to 29 years old of age said they have a health care bill debt like 22 percent of interviewees who 65 and older said they have a medical or dental bill debt.
fifty-six percent of Black respondents said they had health care bills that past over 50 percent of Hispanic respondents and 37 percent of white respondents said the same.
Sixty two percent of respondents who do not have health insurance said they have a medical or dental debt bill 44 percent of interviewees who the health insurance company said the same thing.
