Focus Home Interactive has acquired the French publisher Dotemu for 38.5 million euros.
With this, Focus Home Interactive has 77.5 percent of owned the shares. The purchase amount can also rise to 53.5 million euros, if Dotemu achieves unknown milestones in the field of ‘sales and employment’.
“The The arrival of Dotemu represents an important step in the growth of our company and the diversification of our expertise,” said Focus Home Interactive CEO Christophe Nobileau.
Dotemu specializes in remakes and sequels in classic franchises. For example, it released Streets of Rage 4 and Wonder Boy: The Dragon’s Trap. In the future, the company will release Windjammers 2, Metal Slug Tactics and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge.
