ISLAMABAD:
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated on Friday no change in Pakistan policy on India on what happened national consensus, clarifying that the remarks of Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari have been interpreted the other day out of context and depicted incorrectly.

In response to media questions about comments made foreign minister regarding relations with India in his appeal to ISSI, the representative stated that they were interpreted out of context and depicted incorrectly.

Referring to the illegal and unilateral actions of India in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) from August 5, 2019, spokesman said, foreign minister described them as an attack on rights of Kashmiri people.
He added that Foreign Minister Bilawal also extended on rising Islamophobia in India, which created environment adverse for significant engagement. “Foreign minister’s remarks are better understood in general context of his key message of conflict resolution, which he emphasized in his address in the think tank event”, said the representative added.

“Pakistan has always sought cooperation with all its neighbors, including India. We consistently stand for constructive interaction and result-oriented dialogue to resolve all outstanding issues, including the main Jammu and Kashmir dispute,” the spokesman said.
