FM Bilawal lands in Guangzhou on Virgo official visit

ISLAMABAD: Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari landed late on Saturday in China on his first visit to the country in his ability as a foreigner minister, with to strengthen bilateral and economic ties.

Bilawal to conduct extensive consultations during visit with Yi, the statement said.

“The two leaders will review the whole gamut of bilateral relationship, with Special attention on stronger trade and economic cooperation between Pakistan and China,” the Foreign Ministry said in a statement.

Fast tracked progress on transformational China-Pakistan Economic Corridor and flagship project of President Xi Jinping’s “One Belt, One Road” Initiative also feature in discussion.

Both sides will also have a wide exchange of views on major regional and international questions.

“The visit of Foreign Minister Bilawal will also match with 71st anniversary of institution of diplomatic relations between Pakistan and China,” the statement said.
