Endwalker, the new expansion for Final Fantasy 14, has been delayed to December 7.
The expansion was initially set to release on November 23. The expansion will be playable via early access on December 3rd.According to producer Naoki Yoshida, the short delay is due to his “own selfish reasons”. He reports that he couldn’t resist his “urge to further improve Endwalker’s quality”.
In Endwalker, the story surrounding Hydaelyn and Zodiark, which began in 2013 with A Realm Reborn, must be completed. Players travel to Hydaelyn and even to the moon. There are new classes – the Sage and the Reaper – new areas including the city of Radz-at-Han and an increased level cap to level 90.
