Fawad Chaudhry to Appear in Court Today as per IHC Orders

ISLAMABAD: Islamabad High Court (IHC) Ordered Islamabad IS Police on On Monday to present Pakistani Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Fawad Chaudhry in court today (Tuesday).

He stressed before the judge that Fawad was arrested in despite of received bail from the high court.

“The police have been informed [of the interim bail] but they did not obey the court decision,” the lawyer argued. Copy of Previous orders for IHC CJ Aamer Farooq were also presented before the court.

“ISIS Islamabad was present in courtroom when this order was issued,” he said. added.

Court went on To issue notifications to IS Islamabad and the district magistrate. The latter was instructed to present to the court record.

IHC heard petitions challenging detention of PTI leaders including Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Senator Ejaz Chaudhry, Musarrat Jamshed Cheema and Malika Bokhari among others.

Barrister Faiza Assad represented PTI leaders in court today, arguing that several of they suffered from medical problems.

Court sentenced, jail administration allow legal teams And family members of arrested PTI leaders to meet with them.
