ISLAMABAD: Electoral Commission of Pakistan (ECP) objected over former prime minister Election of Imran Khan as Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), according to ARY News. on Monday citing sources.
According to the details, the election observation organization raised seven objections to the party election of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI). Notice has also was issued party in in this respect.
In the notice, ECP stated that inside-party elections were not held in accordance with the amended Constitution. Sources told ARY News that the PTI has been amended. party constitution to make it party chairman.
The Electoral Commission directed PTI to conduct the election by amending the Constitution. with two-thirds majority of National Council.

Previously in Jun, Imran Khan once was again elected unobjected as chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) after two commissions withdrew in his favor. Elections of Imran Khan was held during the meeting of PTI National Conference in Islamabad.
Two groups led by PTI leaders Umar Sarfaraz Cheem and Naik Muhammad withdrew from the elections, after which former prime minister was elected without resistance.
