Electric Volvo C40 Recharge is on the market now: see prices

New crossover is the first exclusively electric model of the Swedish brand

Volvo announced the arrival on the national market of the C40 Recharge, its new 100% electric crossover, with a price of launch from 47 thousand euros.

In SUV Coupé style, the C40 Recharge has the CMA platform per base and is the first Volvo designed for be an exclusively electric model. The first 100% electric model of the Swedish brand also arrived in Portugal this year with the XC40 Recharge.

Volvo promises at C40 Recharge “one of the most advanced and complete infotainment systems on the market, developed together with Google based on the Android operating system” with a “connectivity” “over-the-air” software updates (OTA).

With two electric motors – one per axle – the C40 Recharge has a pack of batteries with a capacity of 78kWh allowing charging of 80% of their limit in about 40 minutes and offering a range of 420 km (WLTP) which should improve over time through the aforementioned OTA software updates.

The Volvo C40 Recharge is available in the Twin AWD First Edition version, featuring two distinct purchase options for private customers or companies that include not only the a car, but a wide range of services, such as maintenance, for example.

– prompt payment: 47,376.02 euros (excluding VAT – which may be deducted in the case of companies);

-renting (60 months): 620 euros/month with an initial down payment of 3,100 euros (excluding VAT).
