The installation of Bitcoin miners in the country and the use of geothermal energy from volcanoes have been two of Bukele’s watchwords to boost digital mining. The first president is a faithful believer in the potential of bitcoin as a tool that would serve to attract investments, improve the economy of his country and minimize commissions for sending remittances.
