Imran Khan broke this week world record in having 160 thousand people I listen in on Twitter space. This is the largest human crowd in Twitter history. It was April 21, 2022. April 22, 1970 more than 20 million people took to the streets of the United States to protest Earth Day. This is the largest one-day protest in Human history. These two events select all story of Human role into degradation of not only our environment but denial of undeniable truth also.
Given the political events deployment in Pakistan currentlyImran Khan remains stubbornly the most popular leader in the country. Records of crowds protest and march against exile of their leader is established with everyone new protest. The sad irony is that these who have the right to influence change in Pakistan watches this and stubbornly denies truth.

Earth Day is celebrated every year on 22 April. Interesting fact remains what people have caused more carbon emissions from combustion of fossil fuel after birth of this day in 1970. And here the question really arises: is awareness of problem always lead to the solution too? Awareness just low-lying fruit? Climate change has almost become part of of pop culture, but Exxon is not out of business. It was almost 3 decades after the biggest one-day protest. in Human history against consumption of the same product that these ever-growing corporations were selling. Also, the merger happened around the same time that Al Gore was making noise on climate change and held great chance of become the President of the United States.
it’s confusing problem because it’s usually a disadvantage of awareness of problem which is not amenable to implementation of any decisions. In this case, there is a lot of awareness and knowledge. Earth Day comes and goes once a year but oil giants constant daily existence in our lives. loud phenomenon of Earth Day – no match for silent influence of butter giants in our lives. Perhaps awareness is not a necessary arsenal against butter giants. Maybe it’s not the oil giants these are the villains. Perhaps it us.
