Hardly any other industry was hit as badly by the corona crisis as the cultural and creative industries – but hardly any other industry stands so much for the ability to bring about changes that stand for innovative progress. The actors in the cultural and creative industries represent the rethinking, getting up and moving on. The fact that courage and commitment are essential in order to implement creative solutions is also shown by the award of the Kultur- und Kreativpilot *innen Germany, where resourceful entrepreneurs are recognized for their transformative will.

Then apply until July 25, 2021 for the culture – and creative pilots Germany 2021! Also this year the federal government is honoring 32 companies and projects from the cultural and creative industries for their ability to find flexible solutions and to shape social change with innovative impulses.

The award focuses in particular on the entrepreneurial personality – because especially in these challenging times it is important to put a face to the industry give and show what innovative strength is brought about by the diversity of their encouragers, dissidents and pioneers.
All title holders take part in a one-year mentoring program tailored to their needs. This includes three workshops, the company being accompanied by two coaches, the exchange in a unique network with other creative business entrepreneurs and experts as well as nationwide attention through the award of titles.

Then take your chance and apply for the unique Award from the federal government. Last year, among others, these innovative companies and projects were able to celebrate the title of Culture and Creative Pilots Germany:
- Mycabin is a digital platform that enables its users to rent unused areas such as courtyards, meadows or barns to outdoor travelers with caravans or tents, for example.
- With the flip books for sign language from Talking Hands, children with and without disabilities can learn sign language more easily.
- The Garamantis team develops interactive installations and digital as well as hybrid exhibitions for museums or companies in order to convey content in a playful way.
- With her unique Concert format have become 1: 1 Concert s thought up something very special: A musician meets a listener for ten minutes of musical encounter at eye level.

Who can apply?
Founders, self-employed and entrepreneurs from the cultural and creative industries or at the interfaces to other industries can submit their projects until July 25th. Regardless of whether there is only a plan on paper or your company is already fully on the market: From the self-employed person to the team, whether with a degree or as a career changer, expert or newcomer – everyone can do it apply.
