Syrian President Bashar al-Assad and Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi signed a memorandum of understanding on a comprehensive long-term strategic cooperation plan between the two countries today, Wednesday, in Damascus.
The Syrian agency SANA stated that the following documents were signed:
– Signing of a memorandum of understanding on cooperation in the agricultural sector between the two countries.
– Signing of the minutes of the meeting on cooperation in the field of railways between Syria and Iran.
– Memorandum of Understanding regarding the mutual recognition of maritime certificates between the two countries.
– Minutes of the civil aviation meeting between Syria and Iran.
Memorandum of Understanding on Free Zones between Syria and Iran.
Memorandum of Understanding on oil cooperation between Syria and Iran.
Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi arrived today at Damascus International Airport on a two-day official visit, accompanied by a large political and economic delegation of ministers.
