Police statement on felling incident
A Northumbria police spokesman said: “Shortly before 3:45 am today (Tuesday), the ambulance service alerted us to the message. of a one vehicle collision involving a motorcycle, on Divided Crow Road.
“A 33-year- an elderly woman, presumably a passenger in the back seat, was found on site and taken to the hospital. with life-threatening injuries.
“A 36-year- the old man was afterwards found nearby and was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury dangerous driving.
“Road remains closed for allow for investigation and is expected to be reopened later today.
“Any witness or anyone who traveled in in area at that time of in collision and there are footage from the video recorder, who haven’t talked to us yet asking to get in touch via our website or by calling 101 and quoting the magazine 113 of Today.”
