Publisher THQ Nordic and developer Grimlore Games have announced this. The game was announced earlier this year for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X and S, and Xbox One, as well as PC. The PC version will be released on December 7th.
Spellforce 3 originally appeared on PC in 2017 and offers a mix between an RPG story and real-time strategy elements. The game takes place before Spellforce: The Order of Dawn in the year 518. The Mage Wars have been stopped by the king, but chaos has broken out in various regions. Also, a mysterious plague called Bloodburn is plaguing the land.
Players can choose from three factions – elves, orcs and humans – and must prepare troops for epic fights. The campaign spans over thirty hours and can be played alone or with friends in co-op. There are also online battles against other players. The new version of the game has improved graphics and sound effects and a modified soundtrack.
The game will cost 39.99 euros. People who got the original version of Spellforce 3 on PC received a free update on the day of release.
