Heartbroken parents of 22 month old baby said how They found her dead – just hours after it was sent home from the hospital.
Little Hayley Thompson has been diagnosed with Virus on December 18, but her family told to keep giving her fluids and paracetamol instead of antibiotics.
But early next day, her parents Chris Thompson, 32, and Iboila Adam, 35 found her indifference in her bedroom.
Chris carried out cardiopulmonary resuscitation in front of a paramedic took over and the baby was rushed to the Wigan Infirmary, where she tragically died despite best efforts of doctors.
An investigation has now been launched into it. parents complained that Hayley’s case was not taken seriously enough.
Chris, of Wigan, commander of Manchester, said: “We cannot believe we have lost our little girl.
“It all happened so fast. Something in her body took control of her.
“When we found she’s at 5:30 am on Monday she lied in exactly the same position i saw her in when I went to bed at midnight, only she was stiff and her skin discolored.
“It was a terrible sight and it will haunt me. for other of my life.
“We knew it in our hearts she left, but I called 999 and screamed down phone, which is our daughter was dying so they made me do CPR until fast the paramedic arrived.
“But it was not possible to revive her, and she was declared dead in the hospital.”

Hailey started with cough and runny nose on On December 7, they took me to a therapist. who prescribed antibiotics for her, but she stopped taking them due to an allergic reaction.
A week later, she was taken to another appointment with the doctor, where family was told that since she had a viral infection, she needed calpol. instead of antibiotics.
Literally a day later, she was already well enough to run, ate and drank well, and went to bed at her usual time. of 18:30.
Chris went to check on her at 11pm where is he found him daughter out of breath, he immediately dialed 999, who said the ambulance would be there soon.
20 minutes later it was gone arrive and 111 told him it would be a two hour wait, so he took Hailey to the emergency room where they waited for over five hours before being examined.
The doctor checked Hailey’s blood pressure and couldn’t check her tonsils, so he told family go home, where she immediately fell asleep.
Her parents told to keep her hydrated and dosed with Kalpol, and if not for her improved in three days to bring her back to A&E.
Then she woke up up at noon, but was coughing, had a runny nose and was “completely out of symbol’.
Hailey was put to bed at 6:15 pm. on December 18 and Chris noticed that she was breathing heavily. again, but not as sharply as before.
Less than six hours later, couple made most heartbreaking discovery.

Chris said: “We want answers. How can a healthy baby die in her dream?
And why wasn’t she checked for streptococcus A, scarlet fever or Covid for example?”
AND post- an autopsy cannot be performed out until December 28, leaving a couple facing painful waiting for answers, and the police passed the details to the coroner.

“We’ve been warned of the family cares and currently I’m waiting further information to understand more”.
