NHA chairman visits Balochistan roads to ensure smooth traffic flow

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Chairman of the National Highways Authority (NHA) Captain (right) Muhammad Khuram Agha on Saturday visited the national highways, including the N-25 and N-65. in Balochistan in ensure smooth flow of movement during snowfall. He was accompanied by the zonal head Shahid Ihsanullah, a member of the Western Zone Balochistan and the regional head of North Balochistan Agha Inayatullah.
NHS team also visited national highways, including Kuchlak-Khanozai-Kan Mehtarzai-Muslimbag (N-50), Quetta-Lukpass-Sultan Charai tunnel (N-40), and also visited the established emergency camps for removal of snow in Khanozai, Kan Metarzai and Muslim Bagh.
During the visit of Kuchlak-Shela Bagh-Khodzhaktop (N-25), NHS team inspected the equipment and temporary camps set up at Shela Bagh, Khodjak Verkh. team also visited the highway up to the Pakistan-Afghan border and inspected the salt reserves for snow removal.
During his visit to Bolan Peak, Kolpur bypass road (N-65) and Dozan section, the NHA Chairman sent for removal of snow on emergency basis during present and future heavy snowfall.
During the visit of emergency camps, the chairman of the NHA instructed to maintain close communication with provincial and district administration and expand full cooperation with them.
