The next Call of Duty game, which may be called Call of Duty: Vanguard, is due to be revealed through Warzone towards the end of August.
That’s what insider Tom Henderson claims. He reports that the reveal via Warzone is part of Activision’s new strategy to reveal Call of Duty games via the battle royale game. Last year, Black Ops Cold War was also unveiled via an in-game event within Warzone. Earlier this year there were rumors that the new CoD game Call of Duty: Vanguard would be called and set during World War II. That hasn’t been officially confirmed yet, but it is clear that Sledgehammer Games is developing the game.According to Henderson, the reveal in Warzone could take place just before Gamescom, that will be held from 25 to 27 August. Henderson estimates the unveiling will be sometime between August 18 and 25.
