The California Legislature passed a bill on Monday to create government panel it would be set wage for supposed half-million fast food industry workers in the state, and first-in- the American approach to the regulation of jobs, union Supporters hope they will be distributed throughout the country.
The bill, known as the Fast Act, established panel with members appointed by the governor and legislative leaders in the composition of workers, union representatives, employers and business lawyers. They would set hourly payment of up up to 22 dollars for fast food industry workers next year and can increase them annually by the same rate as a consumerprice index, up to maximum of 3.5%.
