Bentley made the Mulsanne model available again in the Grand Limousine by Mulliner version, in an operation limited to just five units, possible to acquire through its official dealer located in the United Arab Emirates. The five copies were built in 2015, at the request of a customer located in that region of the globe, but they were never used or even registered, so the British brand has now decided to put them back on the market, with shipping available anywhere. of the world.
The specimens developed by Mulliner – the personalization division of Bentley – stand out for their luxury on board, inspired by the cabins of private aircraft, and for their abundant space. Compared to the standard model, the Grand Limousine version is one meter long and offers a further 79 mm in height at the rear of the passenger compartment, thus favoring the four occupants of the two rear rows, which are facing each other.
Fully handcrafted, the Mulsanne Grand Limousines include all those luxuries characteristic of this type of highly exclusive vehicles, such as the refrigerated console for bottles with crystal flutes, or the minibar placed between the rear-facing seats. Passengers can also rely on folding tables with tablet charging system, dials showing UK time and location and outside temperature, and an independently adjustable climate system for each of the four seats. In terms of coverings, the presence of leather and wood is abundant.
Whenever passengers wish to speak to the driver, they can do so via the intercom installed in the cabin. And to conveniently separate the two environments, the Mulsanne Grand Limousine have also incorporated an electrochromatic glass, which allows the transition from transparent to opaque mode with a simple button.
In terms of engine, the limousines created by Mulliner have the well-known 6.75 twin-turbo Bentley V8 engine liters, which delivers a remarkable 512 hp. The rims are 21 inches and were created specifically for this model, as is the stainless steel brand symbol on the hood, which includes the inscription “Coachbuilt by Mulliner”.
It should be noted that each of the five specimens is presented in a different exterior-interior color combination, thus being able to suit different tastes. The acquisition values, however, were not revealed by the brand.
