Production version was finally presented and brought news
Almost everything has already been said and almost everything has been seen, but it was this Thursday that Pininfarina revealed to the world in full the Battista, his electric hypercar with a power of 1,900 hp.
After showing the Battista Anniversario, Pininfarina saved for Monterey Car Week the presentation of its electric electric GT that honors the brand’s founder. The production version debuted on the roads of California.

With its 1,900 hp power and 2,300 Nm of torque generated by the exclusively electric motorization powered by a 120 kWh battery under the carbon fiber body, Battista announced another new feature: the sound.
The Som Puro philosophy adopted by Automobili Pininfarina will provide Battista with a sound based on an “organic frequency of 54 Hz”, which is the eighth part from the 432 Hz “mathematically consistent with the universe” to music theory and taken as the frequency of a pure sound.
From that starting point, “the frequency will rise by multiples of 54 Hz with new sound layers added as speed increases. This “responsive acoustics will reflect the exclusively electrical performance of Battista.” PUB
“Each driver has an emotional attachment to a car and the Battista sound will nurture that connection, not replicating the familiar sound of a car, but with one that radiates the beauty of the Battista’s exterior and interior design. In this way, the Battista will not only impress with its aesthetics and performance, but also on a new heightened emotional level through its sound”, said director of sports cars at Pininfarina, René Wollmann.

The Pininfarina Battista has a price of around 2 million euros for each of the 150 units planned and the first two should be delivered by the end of this year.
