ISLAMABAD: Special Representative of Prime Minister for Interfaith Harmony and the Middle East Hafiz Tahir Mehmood Ashrafi on Monday called people to help in flood victims without any prejudice.
Speech at the “Paigam-e-Pakistan Ulema Conference” held at the Rawalpindi Arts Council and organized by Punjab. government in cooperation with Islamic Research Institute of Islamabad International Islamic University, Ashrafi said, people should set away from their religious and national identity, and come forward for help of distressed people.
Moult light on meaning of Payham-e-Pakistan, Chairman of The Ulema Council of Pakistan stated that this complete teaching that taught respect of foreign sect and faith, while remaining in one’s own religious area.
He was signed more more than 15,000 ulema, masheikhs and religious scholars of all schools of thought in proposal to bring social political and religious reforms in all segments of society, he added.
He said Paigham-e-Pakistan also defined rights of minorities enshrined in Constitution of Pakistan. “Our Places of Worship should used for mutual love and respect, not for hatred or fanaticism against each other,” Ashrafi said.
He further said that in about the future, another document called “Sahiban-e-Pakistan” will be launched. on rights of women in in light of divine command and constitution.
He trusted the Pakistan Army for delivering its unrivaled services to save lives and property of in flood- devastated people across the country.
Ashrafi said that Pakistan enemy wanted destabilize the federation by creating division between the nation and the armed forces through fifth generation warfare. “This is our national resolve counter propaganda made against our security agencies through all possible means.”
He also reminded cheapskates and speculators of anger of Allah Almighty if they did not change their behavior and ask them not to abuse of in people suffering as they were already in financial crisis due to heavy rains and flash floods in country.
In response to a question, he expressed concern over former finance minister Shaukat Tarin’s sound leaked, and said it was beyond comprehension that how human who was in responsible the position could force the two federal units to write letters to the International Monetary Fund in attempt to sabotage the federal government with It.
He appreciated the Punjab Chief Minister Chaudhry Pervez Elahi who didn’t pay attention to that move what can bring Pakistan economy on edge of destruction.
The Paigham-e-Pakistan conference brought together a large number of of well-known ulema and mashaikh, reaffirming their promise to protect the Pakistani army from any propaganda, and help in flood-affected people with national and religious spirit.
