In the run-up to the 2019 European elections Youtuber Rezo caused a stir with his video The Destruction of the CDU. In it he targeted the government coalition of CDU / CSU and SPD and their climate policy. The video caused a stir. CDU video: Rezo takes Laschet to his chest
