Developers chosen to attend the exclusive WWDC viewing event, which will take place on Monday, June 5, at the Apple Park site in Cupertino, California, will now get emails from Apple informing them of their status.
The 34th Worldwide Developers Conference’s official dates were revealed by Apple on Wednesday, March 29, the same day that invitations for the viewing event started to be accepted. At the time, Apple stated that after a submission deadline of April 4, developers would be notified if they were chosen by 6:00 p.m. Pacific Time on Wednesday, April 5.
Apple Developer Program members, Swift Student Challenge winners from previous years, and former Apple Entrepreneur Camp participants are all eligible to apply. Attendees are chosen randomly using a lottery mechanism. The winners of this year’s Student Challenge will also receive invitations from Apple. Still, a different lottery will be used for that purpose.

On Monday, June 5, developers and students chosen to participate will be able to see the Apple Park campus. Both the Platforms, State of the Union, and the keynote address for WWDC 2023 will be broadcast live at a viewing party. The Developer Center, the Apple Design Awards event, the Development Center for interaction with Apple employees, and “enjoy activities into the evening” are all available to developers.
Invitations are non-transferable, and RSVPs are required by April 10 for those who intend to attend the screening event. Developers and students are responsible for covering their travel and lodging fees because Apple does not provide either. But, admission to the event itself is free.
