Al-Eryani: We submitted complaints against Iran to the Security Council for its role in the Houthi crimes

Yemeni Minister of Information Muammar Al-Eryani announced that the government will submit complaints and communications against the Iranian government before the Security Council and the International Sanctions Committee for Iran for its role in the Houthi militias’ “crimes.” “In the matter of prosecuting Iran before the international criminal court for its involvement with the Houthi militia in the crimes in question, the government will submit complaints and communications against the government of Tehran before the Security Council and the International Sanctions Committee for Iran in accordance with the Charter of the United Nations, instruments, treaties and rules of international law.”

Al-Eryani considered that “the judicial rulings issued by the military court against the criminal Abdul-Malik al-Houthi and 173 leaders of the Houthi militia, are not the last, as there are many procedures resulting from them, and there are arrangements to file new lawsuits against the leaders and elements of the militia involved in committing crimes and violations against citizens.”

He added: “As for classifying the Houthi militia as a terrorist organization, the ruling will have great consequences at the internal and external levels. “Condemning anyone who works or deals with it with terrorism, and externally addressing the international community to include it in the lists of terrorism.”
