Activision reveals new trailer for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III

Activision is slowly releasing information about Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III. The latest trailer introduces us to the game’s main antagonist, Vladimir Makarov.

About Vladimir Makarov

Makarov has been a key character in the Modern Warfare series since it began in 2007. He first appeared as an unseen figure in Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare and later became a secondary antagonist in the sequel. In Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, he takes on the role of the main villain.

Relevance to the rebooted Modern Warfare II

Players who experienced the rebooted Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II in 2022 will remember the post-credits scene where Makarov orchestrates a terrorist attack on a Russian airliner. He sends the message “No Russian” prior to the attack.

Release Date

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III is set to be released on November 10, 2023.
