A 13-year- the old boy died after apparently getting into difficulty while swimming in Tave river in Morriston, Swansea.
South Wales Police said a massive search had been launched. on evening of Tuesday, May 24 also with participation, fire ambulance and coast guard, as well as force helicopter after a message was received stating that children swam in river and one the boy was not seen out of water.
They said the teen was found about an hour later in a different location. in river, but it could not be revived. dc Christian Burt, of South Wales Police said: “Yesterday at 4:59 pm on Tuesday 24 January th May received a message that children swam in River Tawe, Morriston, Swansea. A 13-year- the old boy got into difficulty and no exit from the river was seen. An extensive search has been carried out out police, fire ambulance, coast guard and police helicopter.
“Boys body was located in river near Swansea Enterprise Park around 6:00 pm and could not be resuscitated despite efforts of emergency services. His family have been informed and are receiving support now.
