As a result of a software update that was made available today, a variety of gaming controllers manufactured by the company 8BitDo are now compatible with the products that Apple makes.
You can utilize the 8BitDo SN30 Pro for Android, as well as the SN30 Pro, Pro+, Pro 2, Ultimate 2.4g, and Lite SE, with iPhones, iPads, Macs, and Apple TV devices as long as they are running the most recent version of Apple’s software.

All 8BitDo controllers compatible with Apple devices can be played with controller support, including games from the Apple Arcade. These controllers can be used in the same way as any other Designed for iPhone controllers.

iPads and Macs equipped with USB-C connectors can use a cable connection to a suitable 8BitDo controller. If none of these options is available, Bluetooth connections can be used. There can be a maximum of four controllers connected at the same time. However, this number varies depending on the device. The rumble and motion control functions are not supported, which is disappointing.

For controllers to work with Apple devices, they will need to have their firmware updated. The software necessary for this update can be found on the 8BitDo website.
