ISLAMABAD: Chief Commissioner for Elections (CEC) Sikandar Sultan Raja on Saturday called a meeting of Election Committee of Pakistan (ECP) on Monday (February 13) to discuss holding elections for the Punjab Assembly.
The meeting was convened to decide on the holding of elections in light of Instructions from the Lahore High Court (LHC) to hold elections for the Punjab Assembly within a specified period of time of 90 days.
The forum will finalize the plan for the implementation of the LHC verdict.
