Democratic Rep. Jamie Ruskin of Maryland announced on On Wednesday that he had a “serious but treatable form of cancer” and will begin ambulatory treatment.
In a statement, Ruskin said: “After a few days of tests, I was diagnosed with diffuse large B-cell lymphoma, which is a serious but curable form of crayfish. I’m going to start on well of chemo-immunotherapy on outpatient at Georgetown University Med Star Hospital and Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center. Forecast for most people in my condition is excellent after four months of treatment.”
