NH&CD, University of Sydney for cooperation in cultural projects

ISLAMABAD: National Heritage and Culture Department (NH&CD) and University of Sydney on On Wednesday we discussed the areas of mutual interest, including “signing of cooperation agreement between the Department of Archeology and Museums (DOAM), Government of Pakistan and the university of Sydney”.

Professor Mark Allon of the University of Sydney visited NH&CD in Islamabad and discussed areas of mutual interest, including signing of cooperation agreement with senior officials of in division.

The meeting was attended by Senior Joint Secretary Abdul Sattar Khokhar and concerned officers of NH&CD and Department of Archeology and museums.

Directorate of Archeology and Museums (DOAM) seeks to contribute to renewal and restoration of museums, heritage assets and archaeological sites in country.

prime minister’s adviser for Politics, Public Relations, National Heritage and Culture Ingres Amir Mukam recently opened the renovated Islamabad Museum here in the Department. of Archeology and Museum.

BUT total of 46 artifacts confiscated in The US was repatriated to Pakistan and displayed in museum.

New artifacts from the reserve collection of islamabad museum is also it was shown in museum.

Recent renovation and expansion of the museum has made great influence on visitors, researchers, students and heritage professionals.
