Sarasota County School Board Candidates Bridget Ziegler, Tim Enos, and Robin Marinelli Ready win their elections in a conservative pure range.
C 94 of Reporting 99 precincts, Ziegler leading with 55.98% of in the votes of Enos and Marinelli approximately 52% each of in vote. Republican voters dominated Election Day voters, beating Democrats 3-1, which helped party overcome the early democratic mail shortage ballots.

District 4 and 5 races will determine who replacing retiring liberal school board members Shirley Brown and Jane Goodwin, respectively. With three of five places up for elections in this cycle, voting control of in board was up for enough on bulletin.

Kurnov, who supported local teachers union and the Democratic Party of Sarasota County raised the most money of anyone on vote with nearly $250,000. Previously, she was Assistant Vice President and director of student success in university of Sarasota-Manatee from South Florida and educational consultant at New College. of Florida. She has a master’s degree in social work from the University of Pennsylvania and PhD in education from USF.
Marinelli worked as a teacher for age five, school counselor at Southside Elementary School for 20 years old, was a district level administrator, supervised student Services for Sarasota County for 15 years.

Enos 52.31% Sitek: 47.69%
Enos was in charge of Sarasota County Schools Police Department. Now he is an executive director on Florida Association of School Resource Officers and have testified before the State Legislature. on best school safety training after shooting in Parkland.
Graduate of Florida State University with bachelor degree in finance, Enos said he was uniquely qualified serve on school board. For 22 of he is 32 years old of law enforcement experience he worked with school district directly, he said. Cytek moved to area three years ago from Schenectady, New York. She previously worked special an education teacher; and a director and deputy director.
