Interior Minister Rana Sanaulla threatened boycott litigation if the Supreme Court (SC) denies the motion to create full bench for adjudication of a case related to a decision of This is reported by ARY News with reference to the Deputy Speaker of the Punjab Assembly. on Monday.
During a conversation with media outside SC building prior to the hearing, Rana Sanaulla said that they boycott litigation, if full bench is not formed. “Hamza Shahbaz will not party in case, and it’s not a threat.”
He said that the court ruled party supreme powers of the leader for give instructions to political party. Sanaullah said that the formation of full bench put an end to the dispute. Interior minister said the high court would likely hear review petition of Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA) Today or Tomorrow.
He said that all political parties of Pakistan is present in Alliance [Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM)] and they ask for formation of a full bench. Sanaulla added what they wanted to club all petitions except hearing petitions of 25 dissident deputies.
“25 deputies were overthrown on instructions of a party main. We are asking now for a full court bench which will enhance the dignity of court.”

The Supreme Court (SC) rejected the government’s petition for formation of a full court bench hear the case of Punjab chief ministerh (CM) elections.
A three-man bench high court composed of Chief Justice Umar Ata Bandial, Justice Ijazul Ahsan and Justice Munib Akhtar heard plea PML-Q leader Chaudhry Pervez Elahi’s statement challenging the decision of Punjab Assembly Deputy Speaker Dost Mohammad Mazari in CM Elections in Punjab.
Pervez Elahi scored 186 points votes against 179 votes of Hamza Shehbaz of PML-N. However, Mazari rejected 10 PML-Qs. votes after party head Chaudhry Shujaat asked them vote in service of acting boss minister Hamza Shahbaz.
During today’s CJP hearing, Umar Ata Bandial said the court needed more legal clarification on certain things to decide about forming of full court. CJP also said he was not sure if decision on said decision will made Today.
Last week the Supreme Court asked Chief Minister Punjab Hamza Shahbaz to remain ‘guardian’ CM until Monday (July 25) and limited his powers, noting that if he appoints anyone against merit, it will be considered invalid and void.
