Two people are dead and three were injured in what appeared to be targeted shooting at home in northern Indiana, police said.
The incident took place around 3:20 p.m. on Saturday, when an emergency arose. call reported that five people was “severely wounded” in Shooting, the Goshen Police Department said. on Facebook.
One man was declared dead at the scene, while second man dies after being taken to hospital in Goshen, police said.
Three more victims of the shooting were taken to area hospitals. Two women were taken to the trauma hospital in Fort Wayne, and a third woman was taken to the emergency room in South Bend, police said.
“Although the investigation on- checkpoint, preliminary information indicates that the shooting was targeted and not gang-related, and there appears to have been no further threat. of danger to community at present,” the Goshen Police Department said.
