Save teams carried out Search in Channel after the flight of the aircraft from the UK with two people went missing on board.
The French Coast Guard told Sky News that the plane is “a subject of disturbing disappearance” and search for the plane was moved out “all afternoon”.
He said that teams failed to locate “any wreckage or debris from the aircraft” and the search will continue. on Sunday morning.
Piper R-28 aircraft took off from Wellesbourne near Stratford-upon-Avon in Warwickshire on Saturday morning for Le Touquet in north of France.
Falcon 50 aircraft, helicopter and tug, which was already at sea were all deployed in search operation along with british aircraft, coast guard added.
All ships are sailing in in area asked to look for any signs of aircraft and report any sightings to the French authorities.
Passenger and pilot of the aircraft was not publicly identified.
