United Kingdom weather: Arctic air holds Britain in winter frost for cold start to April | UK News

Winter weather is an set proceed over weekend caused in the Arctic air crossing the UK.

Scotland had 64% more sun than usual with but total of 160.1 hours.

The cold snap came after Britain’s sunniest March since 1929.

Met Office meteorologist Dan Stroud said overnight temperatures will be a few degrees cooler than average. for time of year, with cities across the UK experiencing below freezing conditions.

He said winter weather is an set continue until the weekend.

He said: “It is usually dry and cold here, if not a little less cold than here. for in next a few days.

“We have the Arctic. air the leak has been established at the moment, that is, it comes from a cold source.

Mr Stroud said the temperature should climb from about 10C (50F) on average over weekends up to around 14C (57.2F) on Monday like the Arctic air system moves away.
