Northern Ireland enjoyed 90% more sun than usual for month, with but total of 192.5 hours of Sun.
Scotland had 64% more sun than usual with but total of 160.1 hours.

Mr Stroud said the temperature should climb from about 10C (50F) on average over weekends up to around 14C (57.2F) on Monday like the Arctic air system moves away.
